My father aged 67 yrs, was diagnosed with a complicated HPB condition. We met a couple of doctors, who advised us various possibilities, but seemed a bit confused about the line of action (surgery was inevitable). A renowned doctor from Mumbai had us believe that my father had to undergo a "Radical Cholesystectomy" (a surgery with a scope much much bigger than what was actually required, as he would have had a major portion of his liver, some portion of his bile duct, intestine & complete Gall bladder removed).This procedure could have proved life threatening and would have probably changed the quality of his life forever. We were convinced into believing that a Radical Cholesystectomy was the only option ahead of us and we started arranging for funds as the procedure was pretty expensive. We met Dr. Dinesh Zirpe at Ruby Hall clinic. He asked us to undergo a few tests & then explained to us every step in detail. He along with Dr. Vinit Shah reassured us that a Radical surgery was uncalled for and that he would do a regular "Open Cholesystectomy" & my father would be absolutely fine thereafter. The surgery was done on 4th of June 2022 at Ruby Hall Clinic with excellent results. My father is healthy and fit as before. I am writing this review because, Dr. Dinesh Zirpe & Dr. Vinit Shah have been so helpful to us. They have a personal connect with their patients which i feel helps a patient recover faster. I definitely recommend Dr. Dinesh Zirpe to anybody who is looking for an expert HPB surgeon in Pune.

I was feeling continuous pain in upper middle abdomen area after dinner (particularly with fatty meals) for last 2 months.Then I was diagnosed with gall stone last month.I have visited 4 different doctors but I was not convinced and I was also very scared for surgery (as I found many negative informations from Google,youtube etc.). We met Dr Dinesh Zirpe for my daughter's surgery of distal pancreatectomy. He explained us in detail about the surgery related to tumour in pancreas. He is knowledgeable, sensitive and informative person which made us and my daughter feel at ease. He is a highly skilled surgeon who salvaged the spleen which was not a certainty before the surgery. I would like to thank Dr. Dinesh Zirpe sir from bottom of my heart for successful surgery of my husband. We were looking for a doctor who can answer our queries. Due to corona, we could not fly to India.
